President's Message

January 21st FIRC
I counted 38 in attendance at the Phase I FIRC held January 21st at San Jacinto Community College. Thanks to the speakers named below and thanks to John VanPaasschen for lining up another group of great speakers for the FIRC. See FIRC report in this newsletter. Welcome to new members who joined at the FIRC, J. L. Hill, Larry Smith, and L. D. Stephenson.

February 16th Board Meeting
The next board meeting is scheduled for February 16th at the Spaghetti Warehouse, 901 Commerce (at Travis) in downtown Houston. All GHAFI members are welcome; cocktails at 7 and dinner/meeting at 7:30. The agenda includes discussion of activities for March, such as a Fly-Out, and preliminary discussion of nominations of new officers and directors.

The nominating committee is working on a slate of officers and directors for the coming year and looking for volunteers, nominations, etc. If you would like to serve during the coming year, please contact Greg White.
